Introducing Norm.

Happy New Year! We figured we would start this next year by introducing the smallest member of the GTM Research team: Norm.

Norm [the NERR gnome] came to us in the winter of 2013 and has been a cheerful companion on our research treks ever since. He has logged many boat days, measured hundreds of oysters, calibrated many instruments, and supervised a researcher or two while out on the vegetation platforms.

We will share some of his adventures, in addition to our own, through NERRds as he highlights the beautiful areas of the GTM, the equipment we use, and even some of the people we meet along the way.
