Thanksgiving is the time to reflect on all the things we are grateful for in our lives.
To kick off our week of giving thanks, we’d like to start off this Grateful Monday by acknowledging our interns and all the hard work they have done. As a research team at the GTM, our primary research goals are long-term monitoring of our estuary (water quality, weather, nutrients, vegetation, etc.), but that is not our only focus. Our research is guided by our observations, stakeholder input, and requests from our local communities. As such, there are so many questions we seek answers to that we cannot always answer by ourselves.
Thank you to all our GTM interns, who have spent many hours volunteering their time to not only gain valuable research skills but to help us achieve more in our research. Without you, there would be more unanswered questions and unfulfilled goals.
We thank you.
